The course is tailored specifically for Surgical Trainees (Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery, Vascular surgery and Plastic surgery trainees) (ST3 – ST8), this focused course provides hands on experience in performing major lower limb amputations on cadaveric specimens under the supervision of leading consultants in the field of musculoskeletal oncology and trauma. The course provides unparalleled opportunity to develop and refine surgical skills in a practical setting.

Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of surgical approaches, anatomical considerations, flap techniques and stump optimisation.
