London Free Flap Course

The London free Flap course is based at the Griffin institute at Northwick Park Hospital. It is run by the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery in conjunction with surgeons around the London area. This event explores the basic anatomy and harvesting techniques for the most commonly used local, regional and free flaps used in Head and Neck surgery.

Description

The flap dissection course will explore the anatomy and harvesting techniques for the most used flaps in head and neck reconstructive surgery.

It is a full 2-day practical interactive course with two attendees for each body. The programme has interactive videos and demonstration of the latest 3D surgical planning techniques.

The course director is Abdul Ahmed a Consultant Maxillofacial, Reconstructive, Head & Neck, and Robotic Surgeon based at Northwick Park hospital, and the faculty consists of other highly qualified and experienced Head and Neck reconstructive surgeons.
